ESTATE PLANNING/WILLS/ TRUSTS
Estate planning is the act of preparing for the transfer of a person's wealth and assets after his or her death. Assets, life insurance, pensions, real estate, cars, personal belongings, and debts are all part of one's estate. In many instances, tax planning is involved in estate planning.
PROBATE
Probate is the legal process of proving a will is valid and thereafter administering the estate of a deceased person according to the terms of the will. It includes dealting wth creditors of the deceased and addressng any disputed issues.
ASSET PROTECTION
Asset protection is a type of planning intended to protect one's assets from creditor claims. Individuals and business entities use asset protection techniques to limit creditors' access to certain valuable assets, while operating within the bounds of debtor-creditor law.
GENERAL BUSINESS LAW
Business law encompasses all of the laws that dictate how to form, run, buy, manage and close or sell any type of business.
TAX
Federal. State and local governments have legal authority to collect taxes. Often, taxpayers want to challenge the amount of tax due or need assistaince in negotiating a payment plan.

His daughter is currently completing her PhD from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland.
